. . . each title does a suitable. . .job of examining its titular landmass, geology and geography, and animals and plants. Each title also contains original source material (a speech, for instance) that is meant to encourage children to think about the writer’s intentions. These books would be fine purchases for schools that investigate the continents rather than individual countries.
