Seasons – Horn Book Guide
Each book very slightly introduces a season using simple questions, covering why it occurs, when it does, what the weather is like, and what animals, plants, and people do during that time of year. The childlike illustrations mix color and patterns to evoke the feel of each season. Some simplistic activity ideas (“watch fireworks,” “rake leaves,” etc.) are appended.
